Hidden Gems
Experience tranquility by parking in Pont du Loup and taking a leisurely walk along the river's edge on the French Riviera.
Discover hidden spots for a refreshing swim and enjoy the serenity of the surroundings. Before starting your trek, make a stop in the charming village. Dive into the fascinating world of Florian, an old sweet factory and shop, where vintage machines showcase the sweet-making process. It's an enchanting detour for a change of pace. 🍬
Château de la Napoule
Nestled in Mandelieu-La Napoule, Château de la Napoule is a hidden gem I adore!
Picture-perfect strolls, sandy beaches, and refreshing dips in the Mediterranean await. ⛱
Just a heads-up – it gets busy, especially during holidays. But trust me, it’s worth it. And with Cannes nearby, it’s the perfect spot for a Riviera getaway.
La Tarte Tropézienne
Now, let's talk sweet indulgence at La Tarte Tropézienne.
Their original Tarte Tropézienne slice is a gem! Rewind to 1955 when the founder, inspired by the charm of Saint Tropez, created a cream-filled brioche. And guess what? Brigitte Bardot, yes, the iconic actress, fell head over heels for it during a film shoot, even suggesting the name! A sweet slice of history! So, embrace these delectable moments as you explore the French Riviera. 💗
Whenever I visit The Colombe d’Or, I can’t help but feel like I’m treating myself. The food is seriously delicious, made with fresh, local ingredients that just burst with flavor. And the best part? It doesn’t break the bank.
But it’s not just about the food. The whole vibe of the place is just so welcoming, like you’re hanging out with old friends. And when you step outside, you’re greeted by the picturesque streets of Saint-Paul-de-Vence, begging to be explored.
Trust me, if you’re ever in the area, The Colombe d’Or and Saint-Paul-de-Vence are a duo you definitely don’t want to miss out on.
The Colombe d’Or
This is one of my absolute favorites!. It’s tucked away in the adorable village of Saint-Paul-de-Vence, and it’s got this amazing vibe that just draws you in.
Back in 1920, it started off as "Chez Robinson," just a simple café bar where locals would hang out and have a good time. But then, Paul and Baptistine "Titine" came along and turned it into a cozy little inn with three rooms. Fast forward to today, and it’s become this charming spot that’s all about good food and good times.
